Mildred Bernice Winfield, age 70 of Marietta, GA and formerly of Troy, OH passed away 9:12AM on Sunday, April 2, 2023 at Wellstar Community Hospice, Marietta, GA. She was born on September 12, 1952, in Aberdeen, MS to John and Sally Coleman.

Mildred was proceeded in death by her parents John Coleman and Sally Ann Langston, and her sister Pam Coleman.

Those left to cherish Mildred's memory include her husband of 34 years, Emerson Winfield, her son Emerson Winfield, IV, her sisters Linda Clay and Geraldine Coleman of Troy OH, her brothers Thomas H. Coleman and Johnny James Coleman Jr. of Troy, OH and her 10 precious grandchildren.

Mildred graduated from Troy High School and retired working at F&P. She also worked as a beautician. She enjoyed shopping at Goodwill but her first love was God. She was truly a believer and lived her life with God guiding her daily.

A funeral service will be held 12:00PM Saturday, April 8, 2023 at Grace United Methodist Church, 9411 N. Co. Rd. 25A, Piqua with Pastor John Scott officiating. Friends and family are welcome for visitation at the church from 10:30AM-12:00PM with service immediately following.
