Monica J. Curtis, age 64 of Troy, passed away Wednesday, October 4, 2017 at Troy Care Center. She was born October 18, 1952 in San Diego, CA to the late James and Marilyn (Wright) Moran.

Monica is survived by her husband William S. Curtis, whom she married September 4, 1987. Other survivors include sons Jon Gebbie of Troy and William J. Curtis of Troy; daughter Caitlin L. Curtis of Troy; six grandchildren; brothers Michael (Yvonne) Moran of Troy and Tony Moran of Troy; as well as sister Kathy (Dave) Lynott-Friedt of Decatur, IN.

Monica was of the Catholic faith and was a top-notch grandmother to her grandchildren whom she dearly loved. She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary Amvets Post #88 in Troy. She was employed for many years at ASCS in Troy.

A Celebration of Life will be held from 1:00PM-4:00PM Saturday, October 21, 2017 at Amvets Post #88: 3449 Lefevre Rd., Troy, OH 45373. Interment will be held at a later date in Casstown Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to Hospice of Miami Valley: 46 N. Detroit St. # B, Xenia, OH 45385. Arrangements entrusted to Fisher-Cheney Funeral Home, Troy.
