Nadine Elkins Gearhart, 84, of LaFollette, Tennessee and formerly of Troy, passed away Saturday, September 13, 2014 at Cumberland Village Genesis Health Care, LaFollette, TN. She was born in Jacksboro, TN on June 20, 1930 to the late Virgil and Pearl (Burris) Elkins. She was married to Jack Gearhart, and he preceded her in death on October 20, 2005.

Nadie is survived by one step son and wife, Bill and Diane Gearhart of Troy; one step daughter, Vickie S. Gearhart of Dayton; five grandchildren; two great grandchildren; and one sister, Irene Greenwood of Jacksboro, TN.

Nadine was a member of Casstown United Methodist Church, Casstown and the Jacksboro United Methodist Church in Jacksboro, TN. She was a graduate of Jacksboro High School in Jackboro, TN. She was a retired Order Entry Clerk at Arc Abrasives in Troy after 19 years of service.

A graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, September 18, 2014 at Casstown Cemetery, Casstown, Ohio. Arrangements are entrusted to Fisher-Cheney Funeral Home, Troy.
