Nancy Hazelwood Brandt, 90, of Dayton and formerly of Troy, passed away 9:01 p.m. Wednesday, December 31, 2014 at Hospice of Dayton. She was born in Fayette County, KY on April 16, 1924 to the late Asa and Mary Josephine (Dally) Hazelwood. She was married to Paul Edward Brandt on May 31, 1969, and he preceded her in death on April 25, 2006.

Nancy is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Joanne and Arthur Peters of Greenville; one son; three stepdaughters and spouses, Roberta and Rev. Ron Coppock of Medway, Paulletta and Tom Whitehead of Xenia, Tonja and Mitchell Coy of Westfield, IN; one step son, Paul Edward Brandt, Jr. of Bradenton, FL; eleven grandchildren; and thirteen great grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by two brothers, James and Walker Hazelwood.

Nancy was a member of the First Baptist Church, Troy. She was a graduate of Lafayette High School in Lexington, KY and attended two years of College in Ft. Worth, TX. She was a member of the Ladies Prayer Breakfast Group in Troy.

A funeral service will be held 2:00 p.m. Monday January 5, 2015 at Fisher-Cheney Funeral Home, Troy with Rev. Ron Coppock officiating. Visitation will be from 1:30 to 2:00 p.m. on Monday at the funeral home prior to the service. Interment will be in Greenlawn Cemetery, Versailles, Ohio at 3:00 p.m. Graveside. A memorial service will be held 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 8, 2015 at Friendship Village, 5790 Denlinger Rd., Dayton, Ohio. Contributions may be given in her memory to the American Heart Association.
