Nicole Ann Fergerson, age 33 of Troy, passed away 1:20AM Friday, July 3, 2026 at Ohio’s Hospice of Miami County, Troy. She was born April 5, 1993 in Dayton to Dannie Lee Fergerson and Melissa Ann Hixson.

Nicole was preceded in death by maternal grandfathers Terry Hixson and Ruben Anzaldua, paternal grandmother Vicky Langston, and aunt Christina Hixson.

Those left to cherish Nicole’s memory include her mother Melissa Ann Hixson (Andre Rogers) of Troy, father Dannie Fergerson of Toledo; stepmother Tasha Fergerson of Troy, maternal grandmother Carolyn Anzaldua of Troy, paternal grandfather Dannie L. Lacy of Troy; her children Kayden Jenkins and Delilyah Fergerson, brothers Nicholas Fergerson and Dannie Fergerson, Jr , sisters Ashelie, Audri, Jadyn, Kyndall, and Riley Fergerson, six half brothers and five half sisters and two step sisters, as well as numerous uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, and extended family, especially cousins Katerina Bohannon, Bradley Perry, Corey Perry, Desiree Adkins, and Noah Adkins, and many good friends including Brookelyn Turner.

Nicole attended First Baptist Church in Troy and was baptized in Christ along with her mother. Despite her chronic illness, Nicole had an unwavering spirit and never let her ailments get her down. She had an outgoing personality and truly lived life to the fullest. She was a social butterfly and made friends with anyone she met. She loved to sing and had a passion and zest for life. Family was the center of her life, she would go all out for holidays and birthdays and cherished the time she spent with loved ones. At just 33 years old, Nicole left this world far too soon, but the joy, love, and light she shared will live on forever.

A Celebration of Life will be held 1:30PM Thursday, July 9, 2026 at Fisher-Cheney Funeral Home, Troy. Visitation will be from 11:30AM-1:30PM prior to the service. Interment will be in Riverside Cemetery, Troy. Memorial donations may be given to the Ronald McDonald House, Dayton.
