IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Nicole "Nicki"
Monique Davis
October 26, 1944 – November 7, 2025
Nicole Monique "Nicki" Davis, 81, of Troy, Ohio, passed away Friday, November 7th, 2025, at her residence surrounded by her loving family.
She was born October 26th, 1944 in Paris, île-de-France, France to the late Paulette Leasure (née Crosnier)
She emigrated to the United States in 1946 with her mother, and late father, Lewis Leasure. She is survived by her devoted husband of 60 years, Donald Davis and her beloved daughters and son in laws, Dee (Tim) Brown and Cindy (Paul) Delwiche, both of Troy, Ohio. She is survived by 4 grandchildren Christopher and Katie Delwiche, Kylie (Ben) Delaney, Jacob Brown, and 2 great grandchildren, Elise and Avery Delaney. She is also survived by her sisters, Linda Cozatt and Sandra Huffman as well as numerous nieces and nephews, and brother in laws and sister in laws.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Paulette Leasure; father, Lewis Leasure; and brother, Claude Leasure.
Nicole was the oldest of 4 siblings, whom she loved dearly. She married her high school sweetheart, Don Davis May 17th, 1965, welcoming their two daughters into their lives a few short years later. She enjoyed her life thoroughly, from raising her children to becoming a grandmother, and poured love into every aspect of it.
Nicole lived a wonderful and happy life, full of many cherished memories. She loved traveling, watching her grandchildren's various sporting activities, weekends playing Bingo, and was a proud supporter of the Troy High School marching band, where she, (along with many other band parents), were responsible for making the very first Troy High School Marching Band Strawberry Donut.
Nicole relished in all things baking — her most cherished creations being her famous chocolate chip cookies and crêpes, or "French Pancakes" as she lovingly referred to them. She enjoyed the holiday season and made even the coldest winter days feel warm. She loved going on her "adventures" with her daughters and grandchildren, especially if it included a trip to Olive Garden for some soup, salad, breadsticks and a white wine spritzer. But most importantly — her favorite activity was to be anywhere her family was. She was a wonderful mother, daughter, sister, wife, grandmother, and friend to all. She loved and was loved deeply by her husband, her two daughters, son-in-laws, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, siblings, and friends. Her smile, laughter, hugs, and radiating joy will be in incredibly missed.
