Nina Smith Campbell, age 67 of Troy, passed away October 27, 2024 at her residence. She was born May 15, 1957 in Indianapolis, IN to the late Richard and Elizabeth "Betty" Smith.

Nina married the love of her life, Bruce Madsen Campbell on June 17, 1977 and he preceded her in death on October 25, 2021.

Those left to cherish Nina's memory include sons David Christopher Campbell of Kettering, James "Jay" Richard Campbell (LeeAnn) of Vandalia, and Kenneth Prescott Campbell (Ashley) of Vandalia; grandchildren Makayla Danielle, Benjamin Alan, Lanie Elizabeth, Ian Nicholas, and Jaxson James; great-grandchildren Oliver, Jerry, and Liam; as well as siblings Prescott Smith of Indianapolis, IN, Nanette Jackson of Indianapolis, IN, and Brad Smith (Georgia Novak) of Indianapolis, IN. She will also be missed by her beloved companion, her dog Chloe, who helped her and brought her joy from the moment she got her.

Nina loved animals and enjoyed her trips to the dog park with Chloe. She also participated in Bible study when she could. Most of all, Nina was very family oriented and cherished the time she spent with them and being a grandma to her grandkids.

Her funeral will be held on Sunday, November 10, 2024 at 4:00pm with visitation at 3:00pm at Vandalia United Methodist Church, Vandalia, OH.
