Ninya Maria DeNise, age 46 of Sidney, passed away Saturday, June 8, 2024. She was born September 4, 1977 in Dayton to the late Donald Allen and Estrellita "Ester" Hocker.

Ninya was preceded in death by her father Donald in 2014 and mother Ester in 2023.

Those left to cherish Ninya's memory include her son Matthew DeNise of Sidney and daughter Skyler DeNise of Sidney; sister Nicole (Jim) Cupps of St. Paris; niece Allysa and great niece Lainee; as well as boyfriend Matt Royse of Sidney, and many good friends.

Ninya was baptized at Holy Angels Catholic Church in Sidney. She was a 1995 graduate of Troy High School and attended Sinclair Community College. She worked as a machine operator for Honda in Anna. Ninya felt at peace being in nature and was an avid runner. She was an animal lover at heart and had an affection for reptiles and her beloved dog Dexter. Ninya lived her life to the fullest and was authentically herself. She will be missed for her free spirit and lust for life.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Arrangements entrusted to Fisher-Cheney Funeral Home, Troy.
