Oakley Orlander Dandridge, age 81 of Troy, passed away Sunday, July 7, 2024 at Miami Valley Hospital, Dayton. He was born February 7, 1943 in Pageton, WV.

He was preceded in death by his parents Pedro Witten and Alice Dobbins.

Those left to cherish Oakley's memory include his wife Deborah (Walker) Dandridge; his children Monica Dandridge of New York, Enoch Dandridge of Piqua, and Gail Dandridge of Maryland; grandchildren Chelsa, David, and Davon, as well as special grandchildren Myles and Rodger, great-grandson Zayden, sister Pat Joyce of Thorpe, WV,  a host of nieces and nephews, and special friend Dave Fuller.

Oakley was an Army veteran, having retired as Chief Warrant Officer (CWO2) after 20 years of dedicated service. In his spare time, Oakley enjoyed reading and having lunch with his friends. He graduated from Gary High School in Gary, WV and received his associate's degree in computer science from Edison State. After his military retirement, Oakley worked for Hobart Corp for 18 years before retiring.
