Pamela L. Slattery, age 64 of Tipp City and more recently of Troy, passed away peacefully at home Friday, February 27, 2026. She was born February 12, 1962 in Troy to the late Jesse Thurmond and Nollie (Cantrell) Thurmond.

Along with her parents, Pamela was preceded in death by her beloved husband Doug Slattery; sister Debbie Gibson and brothers Ronnie Thurmond and Greg Thurmond.

Those left to cherish Pamela’s memory include her daughters Tracy Slattery of Louisville, KY and Kristen Zeller (Bryant) of Troy; son Doug Slattery, Jr. (Mary) of Troy; seven cherished grandchildren; as well as brother Dallas Thurmond of St. Paris and sister Sandy Hawkins (Leon) of Troy.

Pamela was a loving wife, a devoted mother, and a proud and caring Mamaw. She will be remembered for being the glue that held everyone together.

A celebration of life will be held 2:00PM Saturday, March 14, 2026 at Fisher-Cheney Funeral Home, Troy with Pastor Michael Calhoun officiating. Visitation will be from 1:00PM-2:00PM prior to the service.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to Ohio’s Hospice of Miami County, Troy.
