Patricia A. Widener, age 80 of Troy, passed away Sunday, March 19, 2017 at Upper Valley Medical Center. She was born July 5, 1936 in Dayton to the late Kenneth and Catherine (Smith) North.

Patricia married Raymond L. Widener on February 8, 1958 and he survives. She is also survived by sons and daughter-in-law Scott Widener of Troy, and Kevin and Elizabeth Widener of Troy; daughter and son-in-law Beth Ann and Todd Darst of Piqua; four grandchildren: Jessica, Sarah (Dustin), Vince, and Victor; two great-grandchildren: Reagann and Norie. She was preceded in death by grandson Vance; as well as two brothers: Dennis and Donald North.

Patricia was a 1954 graduate of Vandalia Butler High School, and was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church in Troy. She worked for Buckeye Iron and Brass in Dayton, Airmod in Vandalia, and was a bookkeeper at Trojan Tire in Troy. She enjoyed painting and craft making.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:00AM Thursday, March 23, 2017 at St. Patrick Catholic Church, Troy with Rev. Fr. James Duell officiating. Visitation will be 3:00PM-5:00PM and 7:00PM-9:00PM Wednesday, March 22, 2017 at Fisher-Cheney Funeral Home, Troy. Interment will be in Riverside Cemetery, Troy. Memorial contributions may be made to the tuition fund at St. Patrick school. Arrangements entrusted to Fisher-Cheney Funeral Home, Troy.
