Paul Edward Boggs, age 86 of Pleasant Hill, passed away Wednesday, October 7, 2026 at Grady Memorial Hospital in Delaware, OH. He was born November 20, 1939 in Louisville, KY to the late Leburn and Dora (Pack) Boggs.

Along with his parents, Paul was preceded in death by his son Michael E. Boggs on May 23, 2022, as well as several siblings.

Those left to cherish Paul’s memory include his wife Ruth (Null) Boggs of Delaware, OH; sons David Boggs of Piqua, Robert Brown (Tricia) of Troy, and Darryl Brown (Michelle) of Pleasant Hill; daughter Cynthia Herrmann (James) of Delaware, OH; eight grandchildren and several great grandchildren.

Paul enjoyed boating and fishing, and he was happiest spending time outdoors. He also had a true green thumb and took great pride in gardening, especially in growing a vegetable garden. The work of canning vegetables was another part of life he enjoyed. Paul also found joy in travel. He liked taking trips to Sault Ste. Marie and Rocky Fork State Park, places that brought him pleasure and time well spent. He enjoyed riding a motorcycle, a pastime that spoke to his love of the open air. In his downtime, Paul could be found frequenting the Redman Lodge #222 in Troy where he was a longtime member. He retired with General Motors after over 30 years of dedicated service working as a tow-motor operator and overall handyman.
