Pearl Jane Mumma, age 93 of Troy, passed away Thursday, November 3, 2022 at her home. She was born December 11, 1928 in Troy to the late John and Zoe (Alderman) Rickey.

Pearl was preceded in death by her husband of 45 years Carl Mumma; son Lynn "Bub" Dillow; one great-great-granddaughter; and sons-in-law Charles N. McDade, Mike Lee, and Robert Ragar.

Those left to cherish Pearl's memory include her children John Mumma (Tina), Marsha McDade, Gail Lee, Becky Ragar, Clara Carter (Carl), and Susie Gwin (Mark); daughter-in-law, Janice Dillow; 12 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, and seven great-great-grandchildren with one on the way; and sister-in-law Barb Mumma.

Pearl had a green thumb and loved to garden. She worked and retired with Spring Hill Nursery in Tipp City. She was also an avid cook. Pearl was a life member of the Pocahontas Chinquilla Council #130 of Troy and the Town and Country Grandmother's Club.

The family would like to thank Hospice of Miami County for their kindness and compassion and daughter Becky for taking care of Pearl.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 9, 2022 from 10 AM- 11:30 AM. Interment will follow at Miami Memorial Park, Covington. Memorial donations may be given to Hospice of Miami County.
