Phyllis Brown Iddings, age 77, passed away Thursday, June 18, 2026, at Vancrest of New Carlisle surrounded by her family. She was born November 3, 1948, in Troy to the late Belva and Flora (McAllister) Brown.

She was preceded in death by her husband, David James Iddings, son Charles Williams, son-in-law Tony Mitchell, and sister Mary Larck.

Phyllis is survived by her daughters, Melissa Mitchell of Christiansburg and Christine Brown of Christiansburg, grandchildren; Alicia (Jeff) Good, Heather (Christopher) Goins, Ashley (Justin) Brown, Nicholas Matney, CJ Williams and Caylee Williams, seven great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren.

She was a graduate of Troy High School and was a previous member of Troy Eagles #971. She retired from Caldwell House in Troy having worked as a resident assistant.

Phyllis loved to dance and listen to her husband’s music, and she was often the last to leave the dance floor. She cherished spending time with her family and also playing bingo.

A celebration of life will be held 2:00PM-4:00PM Saturday, July 18, 2026 at the Troy AmVets Post 88: 3449 Lefevre Rd, Troy, OH 45373. 

Memorial donations may be given to Hospice of Miami County in her name.
