Robert C. Bell, age 84 of Troy passed away at 3:58 A.M. on Saturday, June 13, 2015 at Caldwell House, Troy. He was born on March 31, 1931 in Troy, Ohio to the late Walter Edward and Elizabeth Adeline (Ward) Bell.

He married Patricia Markley on July 31, 1954 and  she passed away on February 19, 2009.

He is survived by his sons and daughters-in-law Mark and Debi Bell of  Casstown, Ron and Pam Bell of Troy, sister Mary McNutt of Troy, grandchildren Julie (Scott) Paulus, Krista Stidham, Robbie Bell and 6 great-grandchildren.

He was also preceded in death by a brother James Bell and sister Pauline Denning.

He was a 1949 graduate of Elizabeth High School, retired in 1990  from the  former Dinner Bell Foods of Troy after 32 years of service and a former member of Cove Springs United Church of Christ.  He  and his wife were former owners of  Bob and Pat's Antiques, loved going to auctions, coached little league baseball teams, and co-founder of  Ham and Lamb 4-H Club of  Miami County and loved seeing his family show their animals at the fair.

Funeral service will be held at 2:30 P.M. on Thursday , June 18, 2015  at Fisher-Cheney Funeral Home, Troy with Rev. David Ramming officiating.  Interment to follow at Casstown Cemetery. Viewing will be held on Thursday 2 hours prior to the service from (12:30-2:30) P.M. at the funeral home.  Contributions may be made to Hospice of Miami Valley, 46 N.
