Robert S. Culver, 72, of Troy, passed away at 10:45 p.m. Saturday, September 13, 2014 at his residence. He was born in Beloit, WI on February 17, 1942 to the late Almond L. and Ellen (Polinski) Culver. He was married to Jackie Graham on March 17, 1992, and she survives.

Robert is also survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Robert and Andrea Culver, Jr. of Huber Heights; one daughter, Kellie Culver of Columbia, SC; three children by marriage and spouse, Brenda Pearce of Piqua, Patrick and Lorraine Grody of Piqua, Donald Grody of Bradford; four grandchildren; twelve grandchildren by marriage, fifteen great grandchildren by marriage; and two sisters and brother-in-law, Ella and Ralph Madru of Mississippi, Julie Kennedy of Fresno, CA. He was also preceded in death by one son by marriage, William Grody, Jr.; and one brother, Richard Culver.

He was a retired salesman after 30 years of service.

A funeral service will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 18, 2014 at Fisher-Cheney Funeral Home, Troy with Pastor Phil Elmore officiating. Visitation will be from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Thursday at the funeral home prior to the service. Contributions may be made in his memory to the family to help defray final expenses.
