Robert Paul Flora, age 68 of Piqua, passed away Thursday, November 6, 2025. He was born June 19, 1957 in Greenville to the late Paul and Norma (Kelley) Flora.
Along with his parents, Robert was preceded in death by his two sisters, Jane Yoder and Naomi Graham.
Those left to cherish Robert's memory include his wife Cindy (Wintrow) Flora, whom he married May 10, 1980; sons Jason Flora (Kelli) of Troy and Jerry Flora (Rebekah) of Troy; grandchildren Kaylin, Mason, Gambyll, Sutton, and Gage; brother Gerald Flora (Cathy) of Covington; mother-in-law Janet Wintrow of Troy; and numerous extended family and good friends.
Robert was a 1976 graduate of Covington High School where he played football as a running back. He was currently employed with Hobart ITW in Troy, where he worked as an assembler for 38 years. In his spare time, Robert was an outdoorsman who took solace in hunting and fishing. He also enjoyed bowling. Robert helped his son Jason coach youth football with Miami East Schools and was an avid supporter of the program. He also was a devoted Ohio State Buckeyes fan. Robert's heart was dedicated to his family, especially his grandchildren, and he loved nothing more than spending time with them.
A funeral service will be held 11:30AM Friday, November 14, 2025 at Fisher-Cheney Funeral Home, Troy with Pastor Lauren Allen officiating. Visitation will be from 10:00AM-11:30AM prior to the service. Interment will follow at Casstown Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to Fisher-Cheney Funeral Home, Troy.
