Robert Allen Heeter, age 86 of Troy, passed away 4:12PM Thursday, June 26, 2025 at Vandalia Park Nursing Home. He was born April 3, 1939 in Dayton to the late Paul and Evelyn (Dearth) Heeter.

Robert was preceded in death by his wives Carol J. (Smiley) Heeter on May 18, 1993 and Adele J. (Butt) Heeter on September 12, 2017; as well as sister Beverly Bass.

Those left to cherish Robert's memory include his sons Robert A. Heeter, Jr. (Kathryn) of Vandalia and Christopher Heeter (Diane) of Tipp City; stepdaughters Ashlyn Bassiri (Hamid) of Philadelphia, PA and Daneille Vrtar (Frank) of Dayton; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; sisters Sandy Swartz (Larry) of Englewood, and Karen Friesmer (Ted) of Florida.

Robert was a US Army veteran of the Vietnam era. He retired with NCR in Dayton after several years of service as a salesman.

Private services will be held at the convenience of the family. Arrangements entrusted to Fisher-Cheney Funeral Home, Troy.
