Robert Leroy Hill, age 95 of Troy, passed away Wednesday, September 29, 2021 a Troy Care and Rehab Center. He was born November 3, 1925 in Springfield to the late Amos Wilson and Louise (nee Fletcher) Hill.

He was preceded in death by his daughter Connie Toland, brother James Hill, sisters Betty Hill Floyd, Virginia Cunningham, and Jean Land.

Those left to cherish Robert's memory include his wife of 47 years Shirley L. (nee Salser) Hill; son Fred Hill (Sharon) of Huber Heights; daughter Marilyn Hill of Centerville; stepson Delbert Eshelman (Brenda) of Troy; stepdaughter Debbie Eshelman of Tipp City; four grandchildren, three stepgrandchildren, four great-grandchildren, and four step greatgrandchildren; brother Jack Hill of Dayton; and two sisters Jeraldine Gray (Walt) of Riverside, and Nancy Brown (LR) of Kettering.

Robert was a US Navy veteran of WWII. He was a member Troy Moose Lodge #2699, Troy Eagles #971, and American Legion #586 in Tipp City. He worked as a plumber for Schnell's Plumbing for many years and was also a club manager for the Troy Moose Lodge.

A visitation will be held from 3:00PM-5:00PM on Tuesday, October 5, 2021 at Fisher-Cheney Funeral Home, Troy.
