Robert Glenn Meiring, age 50 of Winchester, IN and formerly of Troy, OH passed away Thursday, November 14, 2024 at Ball Memorial Hospital, Muncie, IN. He was born December 26, 1973 in Troy to Darrell Meiring and Robin (Blechinger) Meiring.

Those left to cherish Robert's memory include his parents Darrell Meiring of Troy and Robin Meiring of Piqua; children Lacey Hinkle of Pitsburg, Larissa O'Conner of Piqua, Kayleigh O'Conner of Piqua, Justin Meiring of Piqua, Beckah Meiring of Winchester, IN, Noelle Meiring of Piqua, Joseph Meiring of Winchester, IN, and Jason Favre of Winchester, IN; granddaughter Annabelle Cox of Piqua; as well as sister Jennifer Meiring of Troy and numerous good friends.

Robert was employed with Progress Rail in Muncie, IN where he worked as a welder. In his spare time, he enjoyed playing video games and working on cars. Robert was a very likable man with a kind and generous soul. He could make friends wherever he went and had a good heart. Most of all, he cherished his family, especially his children.

A funeral service will be held 12:00PM Wednesday, November 20, 2024 at Fisher-Cheney Funeral Home, Troy with Pastor Michael Calhoun officiating . Visitation will be from 11:00AM-12:00PM at the funeral home prior to the service. Interment will follow the service in Riverside Cemetery, Troy.
