Robert J. "Turkey" Shoupp, age 78 of Troy passed away on Friday, November 13, 2015 at Upper Valley Medical Center.  He was born on April 10, 1937 in Troy, Ohio to the late Forrest and Bessie Shoupp.

He is preceded in death by his beloved wife, the late Mary Ada (Treon) Shoupp, who passed away in 2009.

Survived by step daughter and step son-in-law Kimberly and Marvin Emmel of Troy, and son and daughter-in-law Robert and Elizabeth Shoupp, and granddaughter Jane Shoupp of Boston, Massachusetts.

Also survived by brother and sister-in-law William and Sondra Shoupp of Las Vegas, Nevada, and brother and sister-in-law John and Faith Shoupp of Bonaire, Georgia

He was also preceded in death by brother Herbert Shoupp.

Mr. Shoupp was a 1955 graduate of Troy High School and was a veteran of the US Navy, having served from 1958-1962 and was a devout member of the VFW Post 5436 in Troy. He retired from Hobart Corporation in 1999 where he worked as an electrician.

Private services as convenience of family. Arrangements have been entrusted to Fisher-Cheney Funeral Home, Troy.
