Roberta "Bobbye" McKnight, 76, of Troy, passed away 4:30 p.m. Thursday, February 6, 2014 at Upper Valley Medical Center, Troy. She was born in Celina on March 4, 1937 to the late Fredrick John and Rita (Wilman) Brown.

Bobbye is survived by one daughter, Michelle Schmidt-Carmody of Sanford, FL; two sons and daughters-in-law, Joseph Fredrick and Gretchen Schmidt of Covington,  Richard William and Linda Schmidt of Waukesha, WI; nine grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren; and two sisters. She was also preceded in death by her son, Michael Joseph Schmidt.

Bobbye was a member of the Catholic Faith. She was a graduate of Julienne High School in Dayton. She was a retired restaurant manager.

A memorial service will be held 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 11, 2014 at Fisher-Cheney Funeral Home, Troy with Rev. Fr. James Duell officiating. Visitation will be from 6 to 7:00 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home prior to the service.
