Rodney A. Adams, age 53 of Piqua, passed away Saturday, January 28, 2017 at Kettering Health Center. He was born January 19,1964 in Piqua to Ernest F. and Carolyn S. (Venrick) Adams.

Rodney is survived by his mother Carolyn Adams of Piqua; his wife Angela (Harvey) Adams, whom he married April 18, 1989; his children: Mike Shepard of Urbana, Shane Schwind of Indiana, and James, Rodney, Dalton, Lori, Tiffany, and Roxanne Adams; six grandchildren; three brothers and sister-in-law: Robbie and Paula Adams of Casstown, David Adams of Piqua, and Ernest F. Adams, Jr. of Michigan; many aunts and uncles; and two special nephews: Robbie Adams II and Arron Adams.

Along with his father, Rodney was preceded in death by one grandchild, and brother Gregory Adams.

Rodney was a former member of Troy Eagles #971 and Troy Fish and Game Club. He enjoyed playing the guitar, and was a retired master plumber.

A funeral service will be held 1:30PM Thursday, February 2, 2017 at Fisher- Cheney Funeral Home, Troy with Rev. John Hughes officiating. Visitation will be 1 hour prior to service at the funeral home. Interment will be in Fletcher Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be given to the funeral home to help defray expenses.
