Roger Garfield Hughes, age 77 of Troy, passed away Monday, February 3, 2020. He was born September 7, 1942 in Troy to the late James Garfield Hughes and Juanita Louise (Abrams) Hughes.

Roger is survived by his four children: Dominic Hughes (Angela) of Illinois, Erica Hall (Mark) of Mississippi, Marnika Hughes of Virginia, and Mindy Allen of Troy; longtime friend Laura Allen of Troy; nine grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; brother Harold Hughes (Lorie) of Troy and sister Dianne Coble (Phillip) of Dayton. He was preceded in death by his sister Lucretia Hughes and one great-grandchild.

Roger was an avid Hot Wheels collector and loved to fish with his dogs.

A memorial service will be held 2:00PM Friday, February 28, 2020 at the Riverside Cemetery Chapel, Troy. Friends and family are welcome from 12:30PM-2:00PM prior to the service at the chapel.
