Rosabelle Marie Avey, age 88 of Troy, passed away Tuesday, November 22, 2022 at her home. She was born January 31, 1934 in Troy to the late Herbert and Annabelle (Ward) Cruea.

Along with her parents, Rosabelle was preceded in death by her husband Ralph E. Avey, Sr. on February 9, 2016; two brothers Lloyd Cruea and Herbert Cruea; two sisters Diane Pipher and Vera Keiser; and son-in-law Dwight Honeyman.

Those left to cherish Rosabelle's memory include her son Ralph E. Avey, Jr. (Lynda) of Tipp City; daughters Sheila Gallagher (Dan) of Troy and Tina Honeyman of Seneca, SC; 7 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren, with one the way.

Rosabelle was a 1952 graduate of Elizabeth Township High School and a member of First Baptist Church in Troy. She retired as a factory worker from Dolly Toy in Tipp City.

A funeral service will be held at Noon on Friday, December 2, 2022, at Fisher-Cheney Funeral Home with Pastor Dale Christian officiating. Visitation will be from 10 AM until Noon at the funeral home prior to the service. Interment will be held in Riverside Cemetery, Troy. Arrangements entrusted to Fisher-Cheney Funeral Home.
