Rosetta L. Rogers, age 87 of Troy passed away at 4:31 A.M. on Monday, June 22, 2015 at Koester Pavilion, Troy. She was born May 10, 1928 in Cynthiana, Kentucky to the late Frank W. and Lula Elizabeth (Green) Lewis.

She was preceded in death by her husband John C. Rogers in 1983.

She is survived by her daughters and son-in-law Victoria and Robert Michael of Troy, Nancy E. Rogers of Troy, grandchildren Andre L. Rogers and Yalonda Kay Owens, great-grandchildren Devante Michael, Kaelyn and Elijah Pearson, Kasha Beth Rogers, sisters and brother-in-law Vivian (Charles) Williams of Troy, Thelma Alexander of Troy, best friends David and Barbara Schairbaum, Genna and Jay of Tipp City.

She was also preceded in death by a son Tyrone Rogers, sisters Evelyn Gibbs, Mayme Godsey, Mary Frances Stewart, Janet Lewis and brothers Marshall, James Robert and Torrence Lewis.

She was a member of Zion Baptist Church, Troy, Harmony Chapter #26 O.E.S., usher board and W.S.C.S. both at church and formerly worked for Dr. Walter Meeker and family as a housekeeper.

A Celebration of Life  will be held at 10:30 A.M. on Friday, June 26, 2015 at the Fisher-Cheney Funeral Home, Troy with Pastor Charles Carnes officiating. Interment to follow at Riverside Cemetery, Troy.
