Ruth Ann Walker, age 87 of Troy, passed away Thursday, June 12, 2025 at Hospice of Dayton. She was born September 10, 1937 in Troy to the late Arthur and Mary Ann (Cenky) Hornbeck.

She was preceded in death by her husband James Emerson Walker on February 11, 2009; son Randolph Walker on June 29, 2006; as well as sisters Ethel Shook on February 12, 2025 and Linda Corrigan on June 15, 2024.

Ruth Ann is survived by her son Rob Walker (Connie) of Oak Creek, CO; daughter-in-law Tamara Walker of Glenview, IL; four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Ruth Ann was a graduate of Troy High School and a member of Lost Creek Church of Christ.

A private committal was held 11:00AM Wednesday, June 18, 2025 at Riverside Cemetery, Troy with Pastor Michael Calhoun officiating. Arrangements entrusted to Fisher-Cheney Funeral Home, Troy.
