Scott S. Smallenbarger, age 69 of Troy, passed away Sunday, January 2, 2022 at his residence. He was born June 2, 1952 in Troy to the late Robert and Patsy (Ostendorf) Smallenbarger.

Those left to cherish Scott's memory include his wife Jana (Johnavitz) Smallenbarger, whom he married October 7, 2000; three daughters: Sarah Potts (Kevin Baker) of Fletcher, Sally Shields (Charlie) of Davidson, NC, and Samantha Smallenbarger (Doug Poling) of Greensboro, NC; six grandchildren: Cooper, Nicholas, Tyler, Karson, Harper, and Taylor; two brothers: Stacy Smallenbarger of Celina and Spencer Smallenbarger (Debbie) of Casstown; and sister Shelley Helfinstine (Johnny) of West Milton.

Scott was a 1971 graduate of Troy High School and a member of Troy Eagles #971. He was a classic car enthusiast who loved to golf and fish. Scott owned Smallenbarger's Lawn Care in Troy since 1976.

A private family service will be held with interment at Riverside Cemetery, Troy. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
