Susan Kay Beachler, age 80 of Troy, passed away Friday, October 9, 2026 at Kettering Health- Dayton. She was born April 8, 1946 in Franklin, OH to the late Jeff and Ella Mae (Prickett) Hipsher.

Susan was preceded in death by her husband Glenn Beachler; as well as brother John Hipsher and sisters Shirley Berger and Marjorie “Tudy” Hunt.

Those left to cherish Susan’s memory include her daughter Cindy Bowling (Jim) of Troy; sister Marsha Hipsher of Treton; grandchildren Jimmy Bowling, MaKayla Bowling, Nichole Seger, and Justin Bowling and great-grandchildren Hunter, Reid, Bella, Elysia, Isaiah, Axel, Carter, and Anna.

Susan was a graduate of Franklin High School and retired with USUI after many years of service. She loved shopping and cherished the moments she could spend with her beloved grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held 1:30PM Friday, October 16, 2026 at Fisher-Cheney Funeral Home, Troy with Pastor Michael Calhoun officiating. Visitation will be from 11:30AM-1:30PM prior to the service. Interment will follow at Riverside Cemetery, Troy. Memorial donations may be given directly to the family.
