IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Susan C.
(Cook) Bradley
February 16, 1944 – October 22, 2021
Susan C. Bradley (Cook) of Troy passed away peacefully on Friday, October 22 at Upper Valley Medical Center.
Sue was born on February 16, 1944, in Monroe, Louisiana, where her father was stationed, returning home with her family to Lakewood, Ohio, soon after.
Sue was the beloved wife of Steve Sr. "Mike," devoted mother of Steve Jr., dear sister of Kathy Cashbaugh (deceased), Connie Bockwich, Carol (Jeff) Morrison, Les (Lisa) Cook, Tom (Cynthia Rosa) Cook, and Bob Cook. She was a cherished aunt and great-aunt to many.
Following in her parents' footsteps, Sue attended Miami University, Oxford, Ohio, where she earned a degree in Education. "Mrs. B" was a 30+ year teacher, mentor and friend to countless Sidney High School students. She loved her work, and loved to tell stories about her years as an educator.
During the summer, Sue worked in the Miami County Fair office for many, many years.
In retirement, she was an avid gardener, seamstress and crafter. Her creations will be cherished by family and friends for years to come.
Special thanks to the staffs of Caldwell House/Randall Residence and StoryPoint Memory Care, where Sue resided following an illness in 2018.
Family and friends may gather to informally reminisce and share memories of Sue on Saturday, October 30, from 1-3pm at Fisher-Cheney Funeral Home, 1124 West Main St., Troy. Arrangements entrusted to Fisher-Cheney Funeral Home, Troy.
