Tammy Gene Heffner-Combs, age 53 of Fletcher, passed away Saturday, June 22, 2024 at her residence. She was born August 26, 1970 in Troy to Daniel Church of Troy and the late Edna Louise (Pearcy) Church.

Along with her mother, Tammy was preceded in death by her brother William "Billy" Church.

Those left to cherish Tammy's memory include her husband Isaac Combs, whom she married July 22, 2023; her daughter Maddison Heffner of Troy and stepdaughter Maddison Combs of St. Paris; her sister Tonia (Rod Roswell) Palivec of Troy; nieces and nephews Caitlin, Brycen, Owen, Paislee, and Hadlee; the father of her daughter John (Brenda) Heffner of Troy; uncle and aunt Don and Karen Church of Troy; mother-in-law Sheila Combs of Troy; sister-in-law Brooke (Ethan) Hess of Conover; brother-in-law Nic Palivec of Troy; and former in-laws Maurice and Beverly Heffner of Troy. Tammy is also survived by her beloved companion, her dog Anna.

Tammy was a 1989 graduate of Troy High School. She was a member of American Legion Post 43, Troy, VFW Post 5436, Troy, and the Redman Chinquilla Lodge 130, Troy. Tammy enjoyed playing darts and loved her crime shows! She expressed herself through her various tattoos and was an avid online shopper. Tammy's heart was full of love for her family and she also had compassion for all kinds of animals. She was a general manager for Wendy's and worked for 34 years for the Scott family McDonald's chains in the Troy area.

A visitation will be held from 4:00PM-6:00PM Monday, July 1, 2024 at Fisher-Cheney Funeral Home, Troy with a Redman Pocahontas service at 6:00PM. Contributions in Tammy's memory may be given to the family to aid in funeral expenses.  Arrangements entrusted to Fisher-Cheney Funeral Home, Troy.
