Tammy Kay Smith, age 61 of Tipp City, passed away Tuesday, December 17, 2024 at Springmeade Health Center, Tipp City. She was born November 17, 1963 in Troy.

Tammy was preceded in death by her mother Martha Juanita (Gee) Couch and her brother Dennis Dishong.

Those left to cherish Tammy's memory include her father Verlin Couch of Tipp City; her daughters Reba Smith of Burlington, KY and Alisha Smith of Troy; sister Terri Howard of Tipp City; her nephews whom she raised, DJ and Troy Dishong, both of Troy; as well as grandchildren John, Isaiah, Mercy, and Liam, and great-grandson Coltyn.

Tammy was a graduate of Tippecanoe High School and attended Sinclair Community College. She was a gifted singer and musician and could play almost any instrument. Tammy had previously worked for Evenflow in Piqua as a seamstress. After her retirement she became an evangelist of the Gospel and preached with her ex-husband at various institutions.

A funeral service will be held 11:00AM Friday, December 20, 2024 at Fisher-Cheney Funeral Home, Troy with Pastor Joel Nunez officiating. Visitation will be from 10:00AM-11:00AM at the funeral home prior to the service. Interment will follow in Maple Hill Cemetery, Tipp City. Arrangements entrusted to Fisher-Cheney Funeral Home, Troy.
