Ted Charles Mace, age 89 of Troy, passed away at 1:13 am Tuesday, December 3, 2024, at Troy Rehabilitation, Troy, OH.  He was born August 23, 1935, in Niangua, Missouri to Charles Albert and Lela Cletis (Calton) Mace.

Ted was preceded in death by his parents Charles and Lela, and sister Eurella Guinn.

Those left to cherish Ted's memory include his spouse of 24 years, Nadine of Troy; stepsons Shane (Trisha) Anderson of Troy, and Scott Anderson of Salida, CA; children Bruce (Cheryl) Mace of Bonney Lake, WA, Diane (Tom) Mace of Pyallup, WA, Brian Mace of WA, and Donna (Brian) Wiweil of Seattle, WA; sisters Sandra Boyd and Georgia Frank, both of Idaho; 13 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.

Ted was a proud veteran of the Korean War and served in the U.S. Marine Corp as a Private 1st Class where he worked in the motor pool.. He retired from Boeing Aircraft, Seattle WA and worked as a riveter.

He enjoyed golf, hunting and fishing but his greatest passion was his love for animals. His precious dog, Missy, will be very much missed as well as his grandchildren's pets.
