Teresa Marlene Clem, age 70 of Troy, passed away Sunday, June 1, 2025 in the hospice unit of Upper Valley Medical Center, Troy. She was born July 28, 1954 In Troy to the late Chriss and Naomi (Barton) Clem.

Those left to cherish Teresa's memory include her sister Ramona Thomas of Largo, FL; and brothers Marc Clem of Troy and Brian Clem of Troy.

Teresa was a 1973 graduate of Vandalia Butler High School and received her degree from Sinclair Community College.

As we journey through life, we encounter inspirational people, mostly famous individuals living memorable lives. However, occasionally we can come across a less famous example of inspiration and such was the case with Teresa Clem.

Everyone that met her marveled at her absolute joy in life and absence of resentment, given the terrible affliction with which she was affected.

Most people would have indulged in negativism in such a case, but Teresa was unfailingly cheerful with an irrepressible sense of humor.

As our sister, we found her optimism so inspirational that, when we ever had any kind of setback, we thought about her and was immediately brought back to positivism.

Surely the gauge of a person is your reaction when you think of them: Thus, whenever we think about our sweet Sissy, Teresa, we smile and that surely is the best testament to her memory.

While our lifetime together ended too soon, we find solace in knowing that she's out of pain and at peace. Rest in peace sweet Sissy, you've given us all we need.

Visitation will be from 5:00PM-6:00PM Friday, June 6, 2025 at Fisher-Cheney Funeral Home, Troy. A funeral service will take place at 6:00PM following visitation with Pastor Michael Calhoun officiating.

In lieu of flowers nemorial donations may be given to Ohio's Hospice of Miami County or Van Crest Upper Valley (address below)
