Teresa Ann (Small) Poling, age 75 of Troy, passed away Wednesday, March 18, 2026 at Ohio’s Hospice of Miami County, Troy. She was born December 25, 1950 in Crawley, WV to the late George and Clara (Burns) Small.

Those left to cherish Teresa’s memory include her daughter Kristy (Patrick) Chapman of Troy; son Douglas (Samantha) Poling of Greensboro, NC; brother Randy Small of TX; 13 beloved grandchildren: Sheldon, Taylor, McKenna, Lainee, Gavyn, Kylie, Cole, Braylee, Korryn, Kade, Cooper, Nick, and Tyler; as well as five great grandchildren: Lawson, Palmer, Oaklee, Kaya, and Aria.

Teresa was a graduate of Troy High School and a member of Troy View Church of God. She was gifted at sewing and loved making just about anything for her family and friends. Most of her family owned at least one of her famous homemade clothes hangers! She loved playing Bingo and was always lucky at the casino. She will be missed by her family and friends, especially her cherished grandchildren.

A celebration of life will be held at later date. Arrangements entrusted to Fisher-Cheney Funeral Home, Troy.
