Terri Lynn Browning, age 71 of Christiansburg and formerly of Troy, passed away Tuesday, August 27, 2024 surrounded by her family. She was born January 20, 1953 in Piqua, Ohio to the late Thomas and Doris (Swob) Kessler.

She was preceded in death by her parents Thomas and Doris Kessler and brother-in-law Allen Rowe.

Those left to cherish Terri's memory include her daughters Michele (Peter) Gray of Troy and Randi (Richard) Loxley of Christiansburg; grandchildren Kasey, Chaz (Samantha), Brock, Maxwell, Catie, Mallory, Wyatt, Harper, and Noah; one great grandchild Tobias, with an additional great grandchild Milo who had yet to arrive but whom she fought hard to be here to meet; her sister Ginger Rowe of Troy and nephews Christopher (Amy) Rowe, Nicholas (Michaelyn) Rowe, and Benjamin (Andrea) Rowe and five great nieces and nephews. She also left behind her four legged companion, her dog Mona who provided great comfort to her daily.

Terri was a 1971 graduate of Troy High School and a member of Lena Baptist Church, Conover. She enjoyed reading, puzzles, and sitting on the porch swing and watching the clouds go by. She enjoyed rooting on her favorite teams the Michigan Wolverines and Dallas Cowboys with a cold Pepsi and a handful of M&M's. Most importantly she had renewed her relationship with God and found peace and comfort in church and reading scripture.

A funeral service will be held 11:00AM Thursday, September 5, 2024 at Fisher-Cheney Funeral Home, Troy with Pastor Ed Sollenberger officiating. Visitation will be from 5:00PM-8:00PM on Wednesday, September 4, 2024 at the funeral home. Interment will follow the service in Casstown Cemetery, Casstown. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Lena Baptist Church, Conover, Ohio. Arrangements entrusted to Fisher-Cheney Funeral Home, Troy.
