Terry Marie Poore, age 55, of Troy, passed away 9:06 p.m. Tuesday, May 14, 2013 at Upper Valley Medical Center in Troy. She was born May 18, 1957 in Troy to Jesse Poore and Carolyn (Stewart) McCoy. She was preceded in death by her father Jesse, and her mother, Carolyn McCoy, survives and resides in Troy.

Terry is also survived by one son, Tyson Poore of Troy; one brother, Frazier Tate of Troy; two grandchildren, Destiny and Nicholas Poore; and several cousins. She was also preceded in death by her step-father, Isaac McCoy.

Terry was a member of the Apostolic Church of Jesus Christ in Troy.

A memorial service will be held in her memory 1:00 p.m. Saturday, May 25, 2013 at the Apostolic Church of Jesus Christ, 1624 N. County Road 25A, Troy, with Rev. Charles Carnes officiating. Arrangements have been entrusted to Fisher-Cheney Funeral Home, Troy.
