Terry R. "Slokee" Stockslager, age 62, of 206 W. Ross St., Troy, Ohio, passed away 1:45 p.m. Saturday, April 20, 2013 at Miami Valley Hospital in Dayton. He was born February 05, 1951 in Troy to Fred Louis Stockslager and Doris (Carey Stockslager) Davis of Troy, and they both survive.

Terry is also survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Rob and Melissa Stockslager of Troy; one daughter and son-in-law, Tina and Chris Wagers of Troy; his step-father, Ron Davis of Troy; two grandchildren, John James Wesley Barker, Ethan James Stockslager; and two step-grandchildren, Morgan Carroll, and Arianna Wagers. He was preceded in death by his step-mother Evelyn Stockslager.

Terry was a member of Troy Gospel Tabernacle.  He also held memberships with the Troy Eagles Lodge #971 and the Indian Lake Moose Lodge. He was a 1970 graduate from Troy High School. For his hobbies, he enjoyed fishing, was a camp fire enthusiast, and was a big football fan. He was retired from Hobart Corp. and PMI in Troy after 25 years of service.

A funeral service will be held 4:00 p.m. Saturday, April 27, 2013 at Fisher-Cheney Funeral Home, Troy with Pastor Bob Bell officiating. Visitation will be held Saturday at the funeral home from 1 to 4 p.m. with an Eagles Lodge service at 3:45 prior to the funeral service. Contributions may be given in Terry's memory to the charity of choice, such as the American Cancer Society.
