Thomas Dill Schaefer, age 72 of Troy, passed away Tuesday, December 13, 2022, at Troy Rehabilitation Center. He was born July 14, 1950, in Troy to the late Max L. and Sarah (Dill) Schaefer.

He is survived by his sister, Prudence Ann Schaefer; cousin Cynthia Sc  haefer and her daughter Stephanie Cullen; as well as his special friends, Dan Ganshiemer, Ron Quillen, Ryan Rike, Dennis Bey and Lisa Roark.

Thomas was a graduate of Troy High School in 1968 and attended Ohio University. He was the owner and President of Tom Schaefer Roofing Inc. He enjoyed sports (especially football), and appreciated nature and visits to Dale Hallow, TN. He loved his dogs Bandit, Rambo, Tobia, and Molly.

A memorial service will be held at a later date. Arrangements entrusted to Fisher-Cheney Funeral Home, Troy.
