Trisha Marie Painter, age 55 of Troy, passed away Sunday, April 28, 2024 after a long battle with ALS. She was born June 13, 1968 in Joplin, MO.

She was preceded in death by her mother Twilla Rihm, maternal grandparents Helen and Glen Lingo, paternal grandparents Raymond and Velma Painter, as well as sisters Tammy Painter and Amy Rihm.

Those left to cherish Trisha's memory include her father Clarence Ray Painter; stepfather Edward Rihm;  companion Joshua Alan Thompson and his son Charles Dylan Thompson; daughter Amanda Lynn Jenkins (Caleb) of St. Mary's and their three children Summer, Skyler, and Braxton; two brothers Todd Painter of Troy and Troy Painter (Tracy) of Webb City, MO; four sisters Dannielle Chattin (Joshua) of Columbia, TN, Traci Smedley (Mike) of Sidney, Christie Westhoff (Eric) of Joplin, MO, and Stacey Stennett (Randy) of Troy; multiple nieces and nephews and cousins with special recognition to Richard Lowing of Fennville, MI.

Trisha was employed with Repacorp Inc for over two decades. She was an avid fan of Michigan Football, loved karaoke, and spending time with her family. Trisha was a natural caregiver for anyone in need. She was the strength and light of her family. She had several lifelong friends that she cared endlessly for. She will be deeply missed by all that knew her.

A funeral service will be held 7:00PM Thursday, May 2, 2024 at Fisher-Cheney Funeral Home, Troy with Pastor Alan Thompson officiating. Visitation will be from 4:00PM-7:00PM prior to the service. An additional Celebration of Life service will be held from 12:00PM-4:00PM Saturday, May 4, 2024 at Calvary United Baptist Church 9480 Co Rd. 25A, Sidney.
