Violet Dulen, age 84 of Troy, passed away peacefully with family by her side Tuesday, December 6, 2022 at Upper Valley Medical Center, Troy. She was born May 6, 1938 in Vanceburg, KY to the late William Henry Carpenter and Eva (Dyer) Carpenter.

Violet was preceded in death by her daughter Violet Electoria "Lec" Causey and several siblings.

Those left to cherish Violet's memory include her husband Keith Dulen; her children: Tracie Kimrey (fiancé David Minton), Tammy Selvey (David), Kimberly Keller, Debra Johnson, Dave Mack, and Elizabeth "Liz" Meeker (Clyde); brother Charlie Carpenter and sister Irene Cooley; as well as 24 grandchildren, 40 great-grandchildren, and six great-great-grandchildren.

Violet enjoyed reading and was a retired press operator from Proto Mold in Piqua.

A graveside memorial service will be held next summer, June 3, 2023, at Honeycreek Cemetery, Christiansburg. Arrangements entrusted to Fisher-Cheney Funeral Home, Troy.
