Virginia R. "Ginny" Ball, age 90 of Tavares, FL formerly of Troy, OH passed away on Saturday, September 19, 2020 in Tavares, FL. She was born in Niles, OH to the late Roy Lee and Nellie (Dyer) Horner.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Walter Dan Ball, who passed away on November 7, 2011; son, Walter Lee Ball; brothers, Roy L. Horner, Robert Horner, and Richard Horner; sister, Violet Ball; three grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Virginia is survived by her daughter, Sharon K. (Larry) Wilt of Defiance, OH; sons, Bruce (Helen) Ball of Troy, and James Roy Ball of Leesburg, GA; sister, Barbara (John) Lewis of Urbana, OH; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Virginia was a loving mother and grandmother. She belonged to the Troy Baptist Church, Miami County Board of Realtors, Ohio Real-estate Commission, and ARPAC. She worked in real-estate and retired from Paul A. Archer & Galbreath Realtors in Troy.

A funeral service will be held 1:30PM Friday, October 2, 2020 at Fisher- Cheney Funeral Home with Pastor Nelson Swinehart officiating. Visitation will be 12:30PM-1:30PM prior to the service. Interment to follow at Casstown Cemetery. A mask and practice social distancing is recommended. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to: Compassionate Care Hospice- 214 E.
