Wesley C. Wintrow, 90, of Casstown, passed away 11:55 p.m. on Sunday, November 16, 2014 at Masonic Home in Springfield. He was born in Tipp City on November 14, 1924 to the late Charles W. and Edith R. (Dixon) Wintrow, Sr. He was married to Vivian Lucille Buckingham, and she preceded him in death on March 2, 2006.

Wesley is survived by one daughter, Kim Heber of Fletcher; one son and daughter-in-law, Jeffery C. and Marilyn Wintrown of Wertz, VA; five grandchildren, Jennifer (Mark) Melzer, Brooks Welty, Kristen (Larry) Bowles, Brittany Kerr, Amy Wintrow; and two great grandchildren, Livian Welty and Bret Bowles. He was also preceded in death by two brothers, Charles W. and Lowell Wintrow; and one sister, Juanita Morgan.

Wesley was a graduate of Elizabeth High School. He was a 67 year member of Franklin Lodge #14 F&AM, Troy, VFW Post #5436, Troy, AMVETS Post #88, Troy, former member of American Legion Post #43, Troy and a member of Troy Fish and Game Club. He was an Army Veteran of WWII and a member of the Veterans Memorial Honor Guard of Troy for 25 years. He was retired from Process Equipment, Tipp City after 26 years of service.

A Graveside Service will be held at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday, November 20, 2014 at Casstown Cemetery in Casstown with Dr. Keith Gebhart officiating with a Military Service at Graveside by the Veterans Memorial Honor Guard of Troy to follow. Arrangements are entrusted to Fisher-Cheney Funeral Home, Troy. Contributions can be given to the family at 1124 W. Main St., Troy in his memory.
