William Edward Hibbard, 67, of Troy, passed away 12:19 p.m. Wednesday, January 29, 2014 at Upper Valley Medical Center, Troy. He was born in Hamilton on February 5, 1946 to the late James Floyd and Ruth (Laugh) Hibbard.

William is survived by two sisters and brother-in-law, Gloria Jean Witherspoon of Hamilton, and Gail and Kevin Jackson of Hamilton.

William was retired from Inland General Motors in Vandalia after 30 years of service.

Private services will be held at the convenience of the family. Interment will be in Greenwood Cemetery, Hamilton. Arrangements have been entrusted to Fisher-Cheney Funeral Home, Troy.
