William Ray “Billy” Veach, age 59, passed away on January 21, 2026, in Casstown. He was born November 1, 1966, in Tinsley Park, IL, to the late Frank Veach, Sr and Marian (Womack) Veach.

Billy was preceded in death by his sisters, Patricia “Patty” Phillips and Brenda Brown, and his brother, Robert “Bob” Porter.

Those left to cherish Billy’s memory include his brother, Frank (Connie) Veach, Jr. of Casstown, Diania “Ann” Stephens of Greenup, KY, and numerous nieces and nephews.

He graduated from Troy High School and worked as a custodian during his working career. Billy was a 50+-year member of Troy Baptist Church, and a member of Arc Bowling. He enjoyed playing cornhole, mowing the lawn, visiting Pigeon Forge, a good campfire, Blue Bloods, and was the ultimate #1 Dukes of Hazzard fan.

His family wishes to thank Cherish Hospice for their support and loving care of Billy. They also would like special thanks extended to Cody for bringing Billy joy when he needed it the most.

Funeral service will be held at 2pm, Friday, January 30, 2026, at Troy Baptist Church, Troy, OH, officiated by Pastor David Thomasson. Visitation will be held prior to the funeral from 1-2pm. Interment will be held in Greenup, KY at a later date.
