Wilma Lucille Ford, 71, of Troy, passed away 3:45 p.m. Sunday, June 29, 2014 at her residence. She was born in Troy on December 14, 1942 to the late Wade and Irma Georgetta (Frazier) Ferguson.
Wilma is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Dennis and Roni Ford of Indianapolis, IN, Timothy and Quinette Ford of Piqua; six grandchildren; four great grandchildren; one brother-in-law, Kenneth Thorpe of Troy; one sister-in-law, Norma Ferguson of Columbus; two dear friends, Lee Ola Howery of Troy and Carolyn Moore of Dayton. She was preceded in death by one son, Benjamin Allen Ford; two brothers, Wade Ferguson, Robert Ferguson; and one sister, Salle Thorpe.
Wilma was a 1961 graduate of Troy High School. She was a member of the Transformed Life Church in Piqua. She was Pastor of the Former True Victory Worship Center in Troy. She was Ordained through Prophetic Miracle Ministries World Wide and Pentecostal Assemblies of the World. She was employed with Hobart Bros. as an Electronics Supervisor.
A funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m. Thursday, July 3, 2014 at Transformed Life Church, Piqua with Elder Brian Hamilton officiating. Visitation will be from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. Thursday at the church prior to the service. Interment will be in Riverside Cemetery, Troy. Arrangements are entrusted to Fisher-Cheney Funeral Home, Troy.
