Betty Jane Adamson

Betty Jane Adamson, age 73 of Troy, passed away at 2:50 AM on December 12, 2021 at Ohio Hospice of Miami County. She was born on February 27, 1948 in Illinois to the late Leroy and Cora (nee Ritter) Luncsford.

In addition to her parents, Betty is preceded in death by her daughter, Rose Adamson; and 11 brothers and sisters.

Those left to cherish Betty’s memory include her loving husband, Donald Adamson; her daughters, Robin (Russel) Wilson of Harveysburg, OH, Genell (Matthew) Smith of West Liberty, KY and Sherry (John Keith) Evans of Troy; son, Anthony Adamson of Ashland, KY; siblings, William Luncsford, Donald Luncsford and Rosey Fuller; and 13 grandchildren and 24 great grandchildren.

Betty loved to bake and cook but more than anything she loved her family and spending time with them.

A graveside service will be held at 2 PM on Tuesday, December 14, 2021 at Casstown Cemetery in Casstown, OH with Pastor Rich Baker. Memorial Contributions may be made to Ohio’s Hospice of Miami County, 3230 N. County Rd. 25 A, Troy, OH 45373. Arrangements entrusted to Fisher-Cheney Funeral Home, Troy.
