Brenda J Roberts

Brenda J. Roberts, age 65 of Troy, passed away 5:12AM on Thursday, March 30, 2023 at Ohio State University Medical Center, Columbus. She was born September 30, 1957 in Troy to the late Ronald and Ruby (Koeller) Alspaugh.

Those left to cherish Brenda’s memory include her husband Don Roberts, whom she married November 25, 1978; son Derek Roberts (Sandi) of Tulsa, OK and daughter Sara Hasselbeck (Todd) of Piqua; grandchildren Daniel, Kierstin, Elijah, and Lucas; brother Andrew Alspaugh of Troy; and sisters Robin Rohrer of Troy and Tina Doyle (Bill) of Spokane, WA.

Brenda was a 1976 graduate of Troy High School and a member of House on the Rock Church in Piqua. She was an animal lover through and through and will be sorely missed by her two dogs Bunny and Willow. She dedicated her time as a veterinary assistant at Banfield Animal Hospital in Vandalia and Bethel Animal Clinic in New Carlisle. Brenda also loved crafting and always supported her grandchildren at their various sporting events.

A funeral service will be held 12:00PM Tuesday, April 4, 2023 at Fisher-Cheney Funeral Home, Troy with Rev. Paul Hickernell officiating. Visitation will be held from 10:00AM-12:00PM at the funeral home. Interment will follow in Riverside Cemetery, Troy. Arrangements entrusted to Fisher-Cheney Funeral Home, Troy.
