Connie Lou Furrow

Connie Lou Furrow, age 81 of Christiansburg, OH, passed away on June 3, 2022 at her home. She was born on December 2, 1940 in Troy to the late Arthur Rosaire and Iona Ada (nee Gaylor) Oburn.

In addition to her parents, Connie is preceded in death by her loving husband Jack Furrow, who passed away in 2004; daughter Kristy Brown; former husband and father of her children Gerald “Jerry” Brown; sister and brother-in-law Phyllis Evans (Corky); and brother-in-law Herb Johns.

Those left to cherish Connie’s memory include her sons Michael Brown (Jill) of Casstown and Scott Brown (Melanie) of Casstown; step-daughter, Jackie Kritweiser of Christiansburg, OH; grandchildren Jamie (Jen), Jason (Stevie), Jennifer (Alex), Dakota, Justin, Nick, and Kelly; great-grandchildren Mason, Rylee, Kayce, Braxton, Colby, Xander, and triplets Greyson, Sophia, and Paislee; and sister Doris Johns of West Milton, OH.

Connie graduated from West Milton High School in 1958. She worked for MAC Industries in Vandalia, OH for many years, where she retired. Connie enjoyed mushroom hunting and picking black raspberries to make pies with. She belonged to VFW Post #5436 Auxiliary, AmVets Post #88 Auxiliary and Troy Eagles Auxiliary #971.

A memorial service will be held at a later date. Arrangements entrusted to Fisher-Cheney Funeral Home, Troy, OH.
