Courtney Marie Emrick Gardner

Courtney Emrick Gardner passed away April 7th, 2024 from complications of diabetes. She is survived by three daughters, Aubree 12, Rylee 11, Adylee 8, mother Holly Emrick, brother Justin Emrick, sister Brittany Lowry (Chris Lowry), her grammy Sheryl Weber, uncle Scott Gates, her grandma Sandy Geiger (Lee Geiger), grandfather John Gates, dad Dirk Emrick (Kristen), uncle Todd (Kelly), nieces Harper Hall and Meadow Hall, nephews Landon Emrick and River Lowry. Courtney absolutely adored her nieces and nephews.

Courtney graduated from Troy High School in 2007. She had an abundance of friends from high school. Some she still has contact with. After graduation, Courtney sowed wild oats and moved to Washington state. She moved back to northern Ohio where her dad lives. She then moved to Georgia and raised her 3 beautiful daughters, who she never stopped talking about and loved with all her heart. Aubree, Rylee, and Adylee filled her cup. Her heart was the most full when she was with her daughters. She also loved all of her plants. They were her babies!

With unfortunate events, Courtney moved back to Ohio to be with family. Where those wild oats caught up with her again. That landed her in Crestline, Ohio. Courtney loved the Lord as much as she loved her children. Enormously. The family takes comfort in knowing Courtney is with Him right now. Her body is restored to perfect health. She will never suffer from her diabetes again. The family asks that you please keep her daughters and family in your prayers.

A funeral service will be held 10:30AM Saturday, April 13, 2024 at Fisher-Cheney Funeral Home, Troy. Visitation will be from 9:30AM-10:30AM prior to the service. Interment will follow in Riverside Cemetery, Troy. Arrangements entrusted to Fisher-Cheney Funeral Home, Troy.
